Haspo BlueGoal -

made of aluminium with a certifled low carbon footprint!

Not only is the importance of high-quality and durable products constantly increasing, but also the awareness of sustainability and responsibility towards our environment. With the BlueGoal product line, we have successfully managed to combine the current requirements of quality, resource conservation and emission reduction.

What is particularly noteworthy is the use of aluminium with a certified low carbon footprint for all goal frame profiles in the BlueGoal product line. The aluminium bolts used to manufacture these goal profiles produced 75% less CO2 emissions in the process (compared to the global average). This is achieved through the use of renewable energy sources such as hydroelectric power as well as highly efficient electrolysis technology. From bauxite mining (raw material for aluminium) and the production of aluminium to aluminium production and casting, every step of the value chain gets taken into account. The result is aluminium with one of the best carbon footprints available today.

The BlueGoal product line no longer uses pure primary alumi-nium for the production of further components such as net hoops and net hoop struts, but resource-saving raw material from recycled material cycles with an average recycling rate of 34 %.

The scope of delivery of the mini-goals within the BlueGoal product line also includes special nets that are made of 100 % recycled polyester (e.g. from fibres of recycled PET bottles). Similar nets for the 5.00 x 2.00 m and 3.00 x 2.00 m goals are available from sports retailers.

In order to keep the delivery routes as short as possible, we have our aluminium profiles from the BlueGoal product line manufactured exclusively by German pressing plants, which further reduces unnecessary emissions from transport and logistics.

In order to keep the emissions generated during the transport of the finished product at the lowest possible level, the BlueGoal product line consists exclusively of goals with dismountable components. In contrast to fully welded goals, whose transport is significantly more difficult due to their format and size, dismountable goals make a contribution to reducing emissions and costs through more efficient transport options. Due to the lower volume, significantly more goals fit on a truck than with fully welded goals. In terms of sustainability, dismountable goals offer another major advantage: In the event of damage or if a spare part is required, only the respective component needs to be replaced and not the entire goal, as is sometimes unavoidable with fully welded goals. The dispatch and exchange of spare parts is simple, fast and also characterised by the idea of sustainability, since essentially, there is a permanent availability of spare parts.

For all goals in the BlueGoal product line, we have very consciously decided to use exclusively press-finished aluminium profiles instead of the sometimes common anodised surfaces. This surface finishing is based on an extremely energy-intensive process which involves additional transport routes. Since it is primarily used for visual purposes, we have consequently dispensed with it for this product line.

The sustainability concept of the BlueGoal product line is completed by the use of recycled or recyclable shipping and packaging materials.

At our production site, we only use green electricity that comes from 100 % from renewable energy sources such as wind and hydroelectric power.

Of course, all products are TÜV/GS-certified according to EN 748 (football goals) or EN 16579 (mini goals).
